Alison Berezuk, PhD
Alison's project focuses on assessing the structure and function of the essential Escherichia coli cell division protein FtsK, with a particular emphasis on elucidating the protein-protein interactions that mediate its role in bacterial cell division. She uses a variety of molecular and biochemical techniques to characterize essential protein contacts that may serve as novel targets for the development of new antimicrobials. |
