Welcome Neil and Neethu! Neil and Neethu join the lab this winter as MSC and MBIOTECH students. Neil aims to elucidate the roll of Escherichia coli cell division regulator FtsKN. On the other hand, Neethu will be studying the peptidoglycan composition of Pseudomonas aeruginosa when exposed to various β-lactam antibiotics to understand the mechanism of action of β-lactam antibiotics on the peptidoglycan layer.
