Nicole Garnier, MSc
Nicole is investigating the intraspecific interactions that occur between different clinical strains of P. aeruginosa in biofilm co-cultures. She is using a variety of methods to examine these interactions such as confocal fluorescence microscopy and genetic techniques such as sequence analysis and droplet digital PCR. Nicole received her BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Guelph in 2016. During her undergraduate studies, Nicole did a 4th-year research project and a summer Undergraduate Research Assistantship in the Khursigara lab which inspired her to further her education and continue her research by pursuing a MSc degree. |
