Seeing is Believing

Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology
University of Guelph
"We believe that understanding the relationships between bacteria and their environment will lead to preventing disease and promoting health. We probe these relationships at the cellular level by combining high-resolution microscopy with molecular, biochemical and biophysical techniques. We also elucidate protein-protein interactions that govern essential cellular functions, assess the impact of antimicrobial treatment on clinical bacterial isolates, and explore the cellular interactions that promote bacterial biofilm formation and host attachment."
